Christmas has indeed come early, and brought a smile to many white water kayakers based in London and the South East. The Lee Valley White Water Centre has announced opening times extended up until the 9th of April 2012.

The Olympic venue will be providing more sessions from January. From now until Christmas the will be limited dedicated time slots, which are as follows:

• Monday and Tuesdays will be closed to public
• Wednesday to Saturday the site will be open and the Café will be open 09:00 to 16:00
• During the Christmas Period the centre is closed from December 24th to January 3rd

From the now until the 24th December open to canoeing and kayaking only during dedicated time slots:

Legacy course Fridays 5pm -7pm and Saturdays 10am – 1pm,

Olympic course Saturdays 12 – 2pm

From January 19th 2012 through until April 9th 2012 sessions will resume and the centre will be open  Thursdays through to Sundays!

• Thursday – 09:00, 11:00 & 13:00
• Friday – 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 & 17:00
• Saturday – 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 & 17:00
• Sunday – 09:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00
